Sedation Dentistry

Relax Through Any Procedure

Dental anxiety shouldn't prevent you from getting care. We offer safe, proven sedation options so every visit is calm, comfortable, and worry-free.

Your Options

Three Levels of Comfort

We match the sedation level to your anxiety, the procedure, and your health history. You're always in control.

Nitrous Oxide

Mild

Laughing Gas

Inhaled through a comfortable mask. You stay awake and aware but deeply relaxed. Effects wear off within minutes — you can drive yourself home.

Best for: Mild anxiety, routine procedures, patients who want to resume normal activity immediately

Oral Conscious Sedation

Moderate

Prescription Pill

A prescription medication taken before your appointment. You'll feel calm and deeply relaxed while remaining responsive to instructions.

Best for: Moderate anxiety, longer procedures, patients who want minimal memory of treatment

IV Sedation

Deep

Deep Relaxation

Administered intravenously for the deepest level of relaxation. You may drift in and out of sleep. Vital signs are monitored continuously.

Best for: Severe anxiety, complex procedures like implants or full-mouth reconstruction

With nitrous oxide and oral sedation, you remain awake but deeply relaxed. IV sedation may cause you to drift in and out of sleep, but you can still respond to instructions.

Nitrous oxide wears off within minutes. Oral sedation may take several hours — you'll need someone to drive you home. IV sedation also requires recovery time and an escort.

Absolutely. If anxiety prevents you from getting routine care, sedation is available for any procedure — even cleanings. There's no judgment here. Your comfort matters.
