By following these three simple numbers, you can virtually guarantee that your teeth remain clean, your gums healthy, and your breath fresh. The First "3": Brush 3 Times a Day
The standard advice you often hear is "brush twice a day." While that is the minimum for maintaining health, the 3-3-3 rule challenges you to aim for the gold standard: Brushing three times a day.
When? Ideally, after your three main meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Why it matters: Food particles left on teeth react with bacteria to form acid within 20 minutes of eating.
